Antoni Regalado, 22, of 87 Southwest Cutoff, Northborough, was arrested by Northborough police and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, speeding, marked lanes violation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and an open container violation. Judge Vito Virzi scheduled a formal arraignment for Jan. 9. According to police, Regalado was observed speeding on Route 20 around 2:50 a.m. on Christmas Day. When the officer stopped the vehicle, he saw an open beer can in the front seat.
Jean Dovale, 33, of 27 Blake St., Northborough, was summonsed to court on a complaint from Northborough police to face charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and obstruction of an emergency vehicle. Judge Vito Virzi found Dovale responsible on a decriminalized version of the unlicensed charge, ordering him to pay $400 in fees. He was found not responsible on the obstruction of an emergency vehicle charge.
