1. Last week, we saw your foliage photos. This week, we are looking for your pumpkins. In the second Picture of the Week contest, we are inviting readers to upload the best photos they've taken of pumpkins, carved or otherwise.
2. Get hooked: learn or continue to hone your skills in the time-honored craft or rug hooking while making a beautiful table topper or small wall hanging. This is a four-week session at Craftworks Cooperative.
3. The Northborough Moms and Tots and Northborough Helping Hands Association Fifth Annual Backpack and School Supplies Drive was a huge success for the 2012-2013 school year. The effort was able to donate 35 backpacks to students in need in the Northborough Public Schools to start their new school year.
4. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the center of Northborough Tuesday through Thursday this week because of paving. Plan your route accordingly. When you get aggravated, remember how much better it will ultimately be.
