A freeze warning remains in effect for portions of south central Massachusetts from 2 a.m. Saturday morning through 9 a.m.
According to the National Weather Service, the low temperatures by daybreak Saturday will be in the upper 20s to the lower 30s.
The forecast "threatens outdoor plants and those with agricultural interests in the warning area are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation."
You also may want to dig your coats out of storage.
The good news? Towns with the evening activity and sports bans because of the threat of mosquito-borne illnesses will soon be lifted.
