Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney accepted the Republican nomination for president of the United States Thursday night.
Romney gave a speech that included a more personal view of his life as well as focused on adding jobs, criticizing President Barack Obama’s policies, repealing Obamacare and promoting his business background. His messages will always ring true to the average Republican, but what about the all-important swing voters?
"Finding a message that can persuade the small number of people in swing states to switch their vote away from Mr. Obama to Mr. Romney has so far proved to be elusive for Republicans," The Financial Times reported.
We want to hear from you: What did you think of the former governor’s speech? What did you think of the convention? Were you swayed in either direction after watching the proceedings from Tampa? From his experience as governor of the commonwealth, are you more apt or less apt to vote for Romney?
