Last week, Northborough neighborhoods were hit with a series of house breaks. On Aug. 16, police responded to reports of break-ins on Green Street, West Street, Howard Street, Hudson Street, Valentine Road and Brewer Street.

Now, police are concerned another break that occurred on Monday is related.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., a home owner called to report a breaking and entering on Chesterfield Road that day. It is believed it occurred between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., according to Sgt. Det. Brian Griffin. The suspect forced in a door and jewelry and electronics were stolen.

"A black, small sedan was seen parked outside the victim's house and then was seen parked in his driveway," said Griffin. "This was reported to us by a witness. According to the victim, this vehicle does not belong at that address."

The method of entry and the items stolen make the break-in similar in nature to the break-ins last week.

Anyone who may have seen a vehicle similar to the one mentioned parked in the area of Chesterfield and Meadow is asked to call Northborough Police Detectives at 508-393-1522
