On Tuesday, Aug. 14, Northborough police officer Ryan Caneen was on patrol, driving around in his cruiser when a man flagged him down at 186 Lyman St. around 4 p.m.
Ruseell Miller said he was flying his remote controlled airplane at Central Mass. R/C Modelers on Lyman Street when the plane hit the electrical lines.
"Miller then pointed out a large remote controlled airplane stuck on the power lines near pole number 51, located across the street from 187 Lyman St.," said Caneen in his report. "I advised dispatch of the incident and National Grid was notified."
