A stretch of warm and hazy weather conditions will lead to the possibility of showers and thunderstorms over the next few days, the National Weather Service is predicting.
Earlier today the NWS issued a flood advisory for many communities after strong thunderstorms barreled through the Metrowest, dropping heavy rain on the region.
Isolated storms could build again later today, with the potential for strong wind, hail and localized flash flooding.
The chance for strong storms will return on Thursday, with hail possible from the morning through the early afternoon hours.
On Friday and Saturday, any storms that develop could turn severe, with damaging wind, large hail and downpours.
