ShrewsburyGeorge J. Broderick, of Shrewsbury, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 in University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He was 74.

WestboroughCynthia Elizabeth Conti, 87, of Westborough, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

She worked as a secretary at St. Peter's Church in Plymouth many years ago. She was a former member of St. Peter's Women's Club, a former member of the Gourmet Club and the Newcomers Club. She also had served as a den mother and Girl Scout Leader.

GraftonGorgoglione Gordon, 55, died unexpectedly Tuesday May 7th from complications of a lengthy illness.

She was a Master Barber and a hairdresser holding a teaching certificate in that field. She had worked in this area for many years. She loved summer days at Misquamicut Beach.

ShrewsburyRev. Aidan “Leo” Lancaster, 92 years old and a priest for 59 years died on May 10, 2013 at St. Mary Health Care, Worcester, after a brief period of declining health.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in October of 1945 after serving in WWII as a Staff Sergeant. In 1987 Fr. Leo came to the Diocese of Worcester to serve in parish ministry. He served as associate pastor at Holy Family of Nazareth, Leominster, St. Patrick, Rutland, Our Lady of Fatima and St. Stephen Parishes in Worcester, and St. Mary Parish, Shrewsbury.

GraftonClifford E. Granger, 87, passed Thursday May 9 2013 after being stricken ill at home on Wednesday.

He was a World War II veteran serving with The United States Marines. Granger was a graduate of The University of Michigan earning a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
