4:48 p.m.: Police respond to a two-car MVA with no injuries on Southwest Cutoff
5:45 p.m.: Gas odor on Edmunds Way
6:28 p.m.: Police respond to the larceny of a cooler
6:43 p.m.: Assist ambulance with medical Chaplin on arrival, Claflin Farm Road
9:35 p.m.: Family offense between male and female, Howard Street
Incidents, Friday, May 3
12:33 p.m.: Report of possible MVA in area, West Main Street. All vehicles gone on arrival.
2:47 p.m.: Well being check on a male, Shops Way. Male checked ok.
3:15 p.m.: Summons for shoplifting, Shops Way. Subject being transported to Worcester Detox
5:09 p.m.: Caller reports her vehicle being struck by another vehicle but the operator of the other vehicle will not give her any info, West Main Street. Caller called back and said the operator of the vehicle gave her the info. Officer cancelled prior to arrival
8:29 p.m.: Report of a dog howling in pain, Brewer Street. Dog was located at 279 Howard St. The dog has food, water and is secured in a gated fence, checked ok. Animal control to be notified.
8:51 p.m.: Report of a barking dog, Brigham Street
9:22 p.m.: Domestic between male and female, male has since left the area, Wheeler Lane

May 4, 2:46 a.m.: Yohane Kofi Oppong-Afful, 21, 17 Glendale Ave., Shrewsbury, arrested and charged with domestic A&B, Maple Ave., Shrewsbury
