A Northborough man is facing his fourth drunk driving charge after State Police pulled him over early Saturday morning in Charlton on the Mass. Turnpike, according to a report in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette.
John R. MacDonald, 48, 408 Whitney St., Northborough, was pulled over after getting calls that an erratic driver was headed west on the Pike. He was held on $5,000 bail and has a pretrial hearing on June 10, said the Telegram.
The Telegram also reported that, according to police, MacDonald was driving slower than 40mph, but also swerving into other lanes and causing other drivers to stop or avoid him. When the officer tried to administer the field sobriety tests he couldn't because MacDonald had "fallen asleep."
