He served in the US Army during World War II. His grandfather, father, he, his son and his grandson, were involved in the construction business, he having owned and operated his own companies, including Union Concrete, for many years.

Grafton— Michael D. Kieft, 64, died March 29, 2013 after a brief illness.
He joined the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War. Kieft then realized a dream as he started his own business, Computer Maintenance Training, which he ran successfully for many years.
Bruce served in the armed forces and ranked Sergeant (E-4) in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was employed by Morgan Construction Co. for many years as a Machinist. He loved History, Geography, Antique Cars, Chess and Jeopardy.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of Ed's Autobody Shop on South St. in Marlborough for over 25 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and in his youth raced at the former Westboro Speedway, sponsored by his own shop under the number 15. He also raced at Thompson Speedway in CT. and in Hudson, NH.
