1. Last week, the weather experts insisted that it was going to downpour on Thursday night. In fact, it was predicted for days. So much so that Northborough Community Affairs postponed its concert in the park. Well, it didn't rain, but the concert had been canceled. It's tonight. And it's a good one, with Abandon Jack.
2. Every month is in celebration of a lot of people, places, events and history. August, of course, is no exception (for instance, August celebrates the papaya). This week, though, in particular, is International Clown Week and Simplify Your Life Week, according to brownielocks.com.
3. Acoustic performer Ken Macey plays out on the deck at JJ's tonight starting at 7 p.m. To complement the music, JJ's is offering $3 margaritas and a bucket of beers for $12.99.
