The service lasts an hour and remembers Jesus' Last Supper at the tables in the hall, followed by a soup and bread seder supper at 5:30 p.m. when there is a re-enactment of the passover meal with his disciples. At 7 p.m., partipants can hear scriptures and messages at the tables, and are invited to wash one another's hands, faces or feet. Communion takes place after, followed by a procession to a darkened Nave for the stripping of the altar.

Also at Church of the Nativity on Saturday at 5 p.m., there is an Easter Communion Celebration, followed by a community egg hunt at 4:30 p.m. This is followed by a bonfire and music for youth outside at 6:30 p.m.
