Starting Monday, Feb. 23, through the end of the week, diners have a chance to enjoy some of the area's finest restaurants, sampling some of their best entrees for a fraction of the usual cost.
"Worcester Restaurant Week is a week when people can sample the food of some of our best restaurants without breaking the bank," reads its Web site. "Twice a year the finest restaurants in the Worcester area lower their prices and offer a special Chef’s Menu." This year, you can enjoy a three-course meal at more than 40 participating restaurants for $23.13.
Yes, it's a strange price, but a good one, no?
Northborough restaurants participating in Worcester Restaurant Week are A.J. Tomaiolo's, Bistro Limoncello and Guiseppe's Grille.
Guiseppe's Grille has a huge menu, including everything from New York strip to salmon to a lobster roll. And Bistro Limoncello rocks and eggplant parm and other scrumptious entrees.
