The 13 board members of the Northborough Baseball and Softball Association voted unanimously last week to ask police to pursue criminal charges after allegations that former treasurer Edward R. Tache misappopriated as much as $75,000 in funds, according to the Telegram and Gazette.
Tache, who is a Northborough resident and treasurer for the association for the last four years, submitted his resignation over the weekend. After the board met, the association's president, James Forbrush, visited the Northborough Police Department to discuss holding an investigation.
